TT120 Class 50 "Stay-in" shafts Fits Hornby TT120 Hop-Up Shafts

£12.99

2x Hop-Up shafts fit Hornby Class 50 “Stay-in” shafts. These are different to the HST shafts.

High Fell on Youtube has done a lovely video here if you prefer a video to watch vs the included instructions.

  • Pack contains a pair of Hop-Up Shafts to eliminate the common issue of the standard shafts popping out from the loco.

  • The running is smooth, the pulling capacity is not compromised, these have been Beta tested by a fleet of TT120 enthusiasts for well over 8hrs of running with no issues. They have been made from a special resin and are made to fit directly into the Class 50 with no modifications necessary.

  • You will need to put some grease on each end of the shafts when installing these. I find Universal Wheel bearing Grease works well, Aeroshell Grease 7 works too, a plastic safe grease is the best option for longevity, avoid using a lithium grease as this has not been tested.

  • Instructions are provided per order of shafts, Links to Youtube videos will follow shortly....

The Kit includes;

2x Stay-in Shafts

1x set of instructions showing how to install this kit
